The craft movement has raised the game of beer, whisky and wine. We were approached by Rodrigue Akkari who wanted to bring the same passion to Rum. His plan was to use Kickstarter to raise funds to launch his craft rum distillery, in Buckinghamshire, distilling rum from scratch. He wanted to do this in a way that gives back to the community and environment.
We created a brand that encompasses Rod’s commitment to bring the spirit and determination, ingenuity and openness, to the evolution of astounding rum.
